MEMBERSHIP - THE FRIENDS CONTINUE TO WORK TOWARD EXPANDING MEMBERSHIP AND ENCOURAGING GENERAL CONTRIBUTIONS THROUGH MEMBERSHIP DRIVES, DIRECT MAIL AND SOCIAL MEDIA VENUES. CONTINUED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS CAPABILITIES HAS BEEN ONE OF MANY GOALS ACCOMPLISHED.
BATTLESHIP SUPPORT AND IMPROVEMENTS - THE FRIENDS CONTINUE TO FUND PROJECTS FOR THE BATTLESHIP THAT FALL OUTSIDE THE SHIP'S OPERATING BUDGET. THESE PROJECTS INCLUDE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FACILITIES SUCH AS SAFETY UPGRADES; LANDSCAPING; TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENTS; NEW OR ENHANCED EDUCATIONAL DISPLAYS;ARTIFACT ACQUISITION; GENERATIONS CAMPAIGN PHASE 3 "LIVING WITH WATER; AND RESTORATION.
