CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELING SERVICE OF THE SAVANNAH AREA, INC. (CCCS) IS FOCUSED ON THE FINANCIAL WELL-BEING AND ECONOMIC STABILITY OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. IN 2021, CCCS PROVIDED SERVICES TO 3,563 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGH FINANCIAL COUNSELING AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. 901 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WERE SERVED THROUGH BUDGET COUNSELING, CREDIT COUNSELING, FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER COUNSELING,DELINQUENT MORTGAGE COUNSELING, REVERSE MORTGAGE COUNSELING AND BANKRUPTCY COUNSELING.CCCS ADDITIONALLY ASSISTED FAMILIES IN THE REPAYMENT OF 1,543,453 TO CREDITORS ON BEHALF OF THE FAMILIES PARTICIPATING IN A DEBT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. CCCS ALSO PROVIDED 164 FREE FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOPS AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS, COVERING A WIDE ARRAY OF FINANCIAL TOPICS WHICH REACHED 2,662 INDIVIDUALS.
