THE CREDIT AND MONEY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM INCLUDES FACE-TO-FACE COUNSELING AND GROUP EDUCATION TO ASSIST CLIENTS WITH BUDGETING, CREDIT, STUDENT LOANS AND DEBT MANAGEMENT PLANS. OUR FINANCIAL CAPABILITIES APPROACH MOVES CLIENTS TOWARD THEIR MONEY AND HOUSING GOALS BY PROVIDING INFORMATION, ACTION PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORTIVE ACCOUNTABILITY. COUNCELORS ARE CERTIFIED BY THE NATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR CREDIT COUNSELING. THIS PROGRAM AREA ALSO INCLUDES THE SERVICES OF THE WOMEN'S FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT CENTER, THE FREE TAX PREPARATION PROGRAM, AND THE SECURE PROGRAM TO BUILD EMERGENCY FUNDS FOR LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS.
THE HOUSING PROGRAMS OFFER FACE-TO-FACE COUNSELING AND GROUP EDUCATION TO HELP CLIENTS OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN HOUSING, WHETHER THEY RENT OR OWN OR IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING THEIR FIRST HOME. SERVICE AREAS INCLUDE RENTAL, PRE-PURCHASE, REVERSE MORTGAGES AND FORECLOSURE PREVENTION. THIS PROGRAM AREA INCLUDES THE EMPLOYER-ASSISTED MATCHED SAVINGS HOUSING PROGRAMS WHICH ARE MANAGED BY LOCAL EMPLOYERS TO ASSIST THEIR EMPLOYEES WITH HOMEBUYING.
