AS A CHARITABLE COMMUNITY TENNIS ASSOCIATION PUBLIC TENNIS INC. PTI IS GROWING THE SPORT OF TENNIS PRIMARILY AT PUBLIC FACILITIES BY BUILDING AFFORDABLE PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND PLAY. AS AN NJTL NATIONAL JUNIOR TENNIS AND LEARNING ORGANIZATION WE SEEK COACHING OPPORTUNITIES WHICH REACH OUT TO UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND WE TEACH ILLUMINATE AND DEMONSTRATE LIFE SKILLS AND EDUCATION USING TENNIS AS A GAME AND CONTEXT FOR LEARNING. PTI SUPPORTS GROWTH THESE PROGRAMS BY ADVOCATING FOR AND ENGAGING FUNDING FOR ADDITIONAL PUBLIC TENNIS FACILITIES IN ITS SERVICE AREA.

AFFORDABLE TENNIS CLINICS FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS ARE HELD AT PUBLIC LOCATIONS AROUND BEAUFORT COUNTY ON AN ONGOING BASIS. BOTH REGULAR AND SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATIONS ARE INCLUDED.
TENNIS 4 LEARNING ACTIVITIES USE THE COURT TENNIS GAME TENNIS HISTORY AND TENNIS SKILLS AS OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE AND LEARN A MULTITUDE OF LIFE-ENHANCING AND ACADEMIC SKILLS. PROBLEMS WHICH SEEM DRY AND DIFFICULT IN THE TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM ARE TRANSFORMED INTO VISUAL PHYSICAL FUN ACTIVITIES ON THE COURT OR AT ALTERNATIVE TENNIS VENUES LIKE PARKING LOTS AND GYMNASIUMS.
A MIXED DOUBLES TENNIS LEAGUE IS RUN BY PTI FOR 12 WEEKS IN THE FALL TO PROMOTE AND GROW THE SPORT OF TENNIS.
