HOMELESS SHELTER PROVIDING TEMPORARY HOUSING TO THOSE WHO ARE HOMELESS. PROVIDE SERVICES TO ASSIS THEM IN IMPROVING THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE, WORK TOWARDS SELF SUFFICIENCY, MAXIMIZE INDEPENDENCE, AND TO ACHIEVE RESIDENTIAL STABILITY.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED TEMPORARY SHELTER TO APPROXIMATELY 133 HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS IN 2021. WE OFFERED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, JOB PLACEMENT COUNSELING, MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE REFERRALS, HOUSING ASSISTANCE, MENTORING, LEGAL ASSISTANCE, AND SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT. SEVERAL RESIDENTS SECURED JOB PLACEMENTS AND THE FACILITY HIRED 5 FORMER RESIDENTS TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. TWENTY-ONE (21) FAMILIES WERE PLACED IN PERMANENT HOUSING WITH HUD VOUCHERS, AND FIFTEEN (15) OTHER RESIDENTS TRANSITIONED TO PERMANENCY INTO THEIR OWN LODGING (APARTMENTS, WITH OTHER RELATIVES, ETC.)
