CAMP HANDS OF HOPE FUND-HOSTED THREE TIMES A YEAR IN SOUTH CAROLINA FOR YOUTH AGES 5 TO 18 AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE. SOMETIMES, A CHILDS LAUGHTER AND PLAYFULNESS MASKS AN INNER PAIN. WE RECOGNIZE THAT CHILDREN GRIEVE IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS. THEY WANT SUPPORT FROM THEIR PEERS AND TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE OTHERS WITH SIMILIAR CHALLENGES. FOR THESE REASONS, WE CREATED CAMP HANDS OF HOPE, A SAFE, CARING ENVIRONMENT WHERE FAMILIES CAN EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS AND CONNECT WITH OTHERS GOING THROUGH SIMILAR EXPERIENCES.

GERIATRIC HPCF FUND-FINANCIAL AID PAID ON BEHALF OF TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS AND INFORMATION WEBSITE. IN 2016, NUMEROUS TERMINALLY ILL INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES RECEIVED FUNDING THAT HELPED THEM IN MONUMENTAL WAYS AND PROVIDED UTILITY ASSISTANCE, HOUSING ASSISTANCE, FUNERAL ASSISTANCE, AND OTHER ASSISTANCE. FUNDS WERE ADMINISTERED FOR THE URGENT NEEDS OF FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

PEDIATRIC HPCF FUND-THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES WHO HAVE A CHILD RECEIVING PEDIATRIC HOSPICE OR PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICES, THAT ARE UNABLE TO PAY FOR CRITICAL UNFUNDED EXPENSES.
