WINGS FOR KIDS EQUIPS AT-RISK CHILDREN WITH SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SKILLS THEY NEED TO SUCCEED IN SCHOOL, STAY IN SCHOOL, AND THRIVE IN LIFE. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS AT TITLE I ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE SOUTHEAST; PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS TO EMPOWER OTHERS WITH SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING BEST PRACTICES; AND WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SCHOOLS AND YOUTH SERVING ORGANIZATIONS TO SCALE SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING INITIATIVES ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
