THE HOUSING SERVICE CENTER FURST TIME HOME BUYERS EDUCATION, FINANCIAL LITERACY, COMPREHENSIVE FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING SERVICES AND AVOCATION IN ASSISTING FAMILIES TO OBTAIN SAFE, DECENT AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING. THE COUNSELING IS PROVIDED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
THE VITA TAX PREPARATION PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX PREPARARATION AND ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE AND OTHER LOCAL AGENCIES. BY USING THESE ASSETS AND BUILDING TOOLS, CLIENTS DEVELOP STRATEGIES TO BETTER MANAGE THEIR FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND MOVE TOWARD GREATER FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE.
