PROVIDES A COORDINATING STRUCTURE TO ASSURE COMMUNITY BASED ACCESS TO PRIMARY, BEHAVIORAL AND OTHER HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO EVERY COMMUNITY IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. AS AN ADVOCATE FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO BASIC HEALTH CARE SERVICES, THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO ENSURE THE CONTINUED GROWTH OF COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND SYSTEMS THAT PROVIDE CARE TO ALL IN NEED. THE ASSOCIATION'S AFFILIATED COMMUNITY, MIGRANT, HOMELESS AND MENTAL HEALTH CENTERS ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA'S OVERALL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. THE FUNDING RECEIVED IN THE FORM OF FEDERAL GRANTS WAS USED TO ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION'S MISSION FOR FYE MARCH 31, 2022.
