GIRL SCOUTS IS THE WORLD'S PREEMINENT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED SOLELY TO ALL GIRLS WHERE, IN AN ACCEPTING AND NUTURING ENVIRONMENT, GIRLS BUILD COURAGE AND CHARACTER TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COMMITTED AND TRAINED ADULTS, GIRLS DEVELOP QUALITIES THAT WILL SERVE THEM ALL THEIR LIVES, STRONG VALUES, SOCIAL CONSCIENCE AND CONVICTION ABOUT THEIR OWN POTENTIAL AND SELF-WORTH.

GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN SOUTH CAROLINA GIVES GIRLS IN K5-12TH GRADE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISCOVER THE FUN, FRIENDSHIP, AND POWER OF GIRLS TOGETHER. THE GIRL SCOUT NATIONAL PROGRAM PORTFOLIO HAS TWO MAIN PARTS - THE NATIONAL LEADERSHIP JOURNEYS AND THE GIRL'S GUIDE TO GIRL SCOUTING. COMPLEMENTED BY THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIE PROGRAM, GIRL SCOUT TRAVEL AND GIRL SCOUT AWARDS, THE NATIONAL PROGRAM PORTFOLIO IS DESIGNED TO HELP GIRLS DEVELOP AS LEADERS AND BUILD CONFIDENCE BY LEARNING NEW SKILLS. IT ALSO ENSURES THAT GIRL SCOUTS AT EVERY LEVEL ARE SHARING A POWERFUL, NATIONAL EXPERIENCE-GIRLS TOGETHER CHANGING THE WORLD. THROUGH A MYRIAD OF ENRICHING EXPERIENCES, SUCH AS EXTRAORDINARY FIELD TRIPS, SPORTS SKILL-BUILDING CLINICS, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS, CULTURAL EXCHANGES, AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIPS, GIRLS GROW COURAGEOUS AND STRONG.
