GIRL SCOUTING PROVIDES PERSONAL GROWTH AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR GIRLS IN GRADES K5-12 THROUGH AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES UNDER THE MENTORSHIP OF CARING, TRAINED ADULT VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF. GIRLS ARE ABLE TO DEVELOP LIFELONG SKILLS AND PRACTICE VALUE-BASED DECISION MAKING THROUGH ACTIVITIES ON A SMALL GROUP, COMMUNITY AND REGIONAL LEVEL, ENHANCED WITH NATIONAL AND GLOBAL EXPERIENCES PROVIDED THROUGH THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION.
