THE CONTINGENCY FUND IS USED TO PROVIDE STRIKE BENEFITS FOR THE CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OR, IF UNUSED, WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS AT THE EXPIRATION OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS ARE MAINTAINED FOR EACH CONTRIBUTING MEMBER.
