THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED COLLABORATIONS WITH THE ENGLISH AND AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP CENTER, ENERGY CREDIT UNION AND VITA TAX PREPARATIONS AND INTERPRETATION ASSISTANCE. THE ORGANIZATION WAS THE FIRST TO OFFER FREE INTERPRETATION, TRANSLATION, AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH CDBG FUNDS. IN ADDITION, IT COLLABORATED WITH THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER TO PUBLISH MORE CONTENT ABOUT AND INCLUDING THE LATINO COMMUNITY AND COMMUNITY EVENTS. THESE INITIATIVES ARE ENHANCING THE CULTURAL FOOTPRINT OF THE LATINO POPULATION IN THE COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO PROVIDE CULTURAL EVENTS SUCH AS HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH, THE LATINO FESTIVAL, GALA AND CHRISTMAS PARTY. IT ALSO HELD CULTURAL DANCES AND MADE PRESENTATIONS AT VARIOUS EVENTS, PROVIDING ACCESS TO LOW-INCOME YOUTH FOR THESE.
