EMPLOYMENT READINESS TRAINING: IN 2021, WE WORKED WITH A TOTAL OF 26 YOUNG PEOPLE WITH 22 ENROLLING IN 2021. OF THE 23 TRAINEES WHO COMPLETED OUR PROGRAM IN 2021, 83% ACHIEVED MEANINGFUL OUTCOMES (DEFINED AS GAINING IMMEDIATE POST-ELPIS EMPLOYMENT AND/OR CONTINUING THEIR EDUCATION RELATED TO THEIR CAREER GOALS). ADDITIONALLY, 3 OUT OF 4 GRADUATES WOULD RECOMMEND OUR PROGRAM.SOCIAL ENTERPRISE BASED TRAINING: WE WORKED WITH 24 TRAINEES IN OUR SOCIAL ENTERPRISES DURING 2021. THIS IS A REQUIRED COMPONENT. EACH TRAINEE RECEIVED 240 HOURS OF COACHING AND MENTORING IN DEVELOPING STRONG SOFT SKILLS AND INTRODUCTORY TECHNICAL SKILLS, AS WELL AS CAREER COUNSELING.
