THE FOUNDATION PURCHASED BOOKS AND OTHER MATERIALS FOR THE LIBRARY COLLECTIONS.
THE FOUNDATION FUNDED VARIOUS PROGRAMS PRESENTED BY BURKE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY INCLUDING ADULT PROGRAMMING COVERING MUSIC, FILM AND GARDENING AND SUMMER READING PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN, YOUNG ADULTS AND ADULTS. ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS FUNDED BY THE FOUNDATION INCLUDED SERVICES FOR YOUNG ADULTS,CHILDREN, THE DEAF COMMUNITY, AND SPEAKERS OF ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE.
THE LIBRARY FOUNDATION OF BURKE COUNTY SUPPORTS THE BURKE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM WITH SUPPORT FOR OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES.
