IN THE CALENDAR YEAR 2022 - THERE WERE NUMEROUS REQUESTS FROM FAMILIES IN RICHMOND COUNTY FOR WHEEL CHAIR RAMPS. 20,087 WAS DONATED TO PEE DEE BAPTIST CHURCH TO BUILD 24 WHEEL CHAIR RAMPS, HAMLET SECOND BAPTIST CHURCH RECEIVED 20,973 TO BUILD 21 RAMPS, AND PINE GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH RECEIVED $2,327 TO BUILD 4 RAMPS. 4,433 WAS PROVIDED TO 2 FAMILIES TO HELP WITH LIVING EXPENSES AND MEDICAL COSTS. 3,000 WAS GIVEN THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO PROVIDE 3 SCHOLARSHIPS. SCHOOL UNIFORMS WERE PURCHASED IN THE AMOUNT OF 10,044 FOR CHILDREN FROM LOW INCOME FAMILIES, 500 WAS GIVEN TO HELP PROVIDE SHOES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN. 2,000 WAS GIVEN TO THE LOCAL LIBRARY FOR THE SRP/STORY TIME PROGRAM, 200 WAS GIVEN TO LOCAL CHARITIES AND CLOTHING AND SHOES VALUED AT 493 WAS GIVEN TO THE RED CROSS.
