PRESBYTERIAN MEDICAL CARE CORPORATION ("PMCC"), DOING BUSINESS AS NOVANT HEALTH MATTHEWS MEDICAL CENTER, IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE ORGANIZATION. PMCC MAINTAINS AN OPEN DOOR POLICY, ACCEPTING ALL PATIENTS REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. DURING 2022, PMCC HAD 157 LICENSED BEDS, WITH 46,543 PATIENT DAYS AND AN AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY OF 4 DAYS. THE AVERAGE DAILY CENSUS WAS 128, AND THERE WERE 10,422 DISCHARGES.
