THE CENTER WAS A DEVELOPMENTAL SCHOOL WHICH HELPED CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES AS WELL AS TYPICALLY DEVELOPING CHILDREN. DURING FISCAL YEAR ENDED 6/30/12 THE ORGANIZATION DONATED THE EXISTING BUILDING AND LAND TO THE CARTERET COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION.THIS GIFT MUST BE USED, TO A SIGNIFICANT DEGREE, FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RELATED SERVIVES TO CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS.
