NASHVILLE SOFTWARE SCHOOL'S MISSION IS TO EXPAND THE TECHNOLOGY WORKFORCE IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE BY PROVIDING MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS WITH ACCESS TO A CAREER IN TECHNOLOGY THROUGH TRAINING, MENTORSHIP, AND LEARNING BY DOING.

THE SCHOOL OFFERS WEB SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, FRONT-END WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT, DATA ANALYTICS, DATA SCIENCE, AND SOFTWARE ENGINEERING BOOTCAMPS TO STUDENTS WITH A FOCUS ON GROUPS UNDERREPRESENTED IN THE TECH COMMUNITY. BOOTCAMPS ARE DESIGNED TO TRAIN STUDENTS TO BECOME JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS, WEB DESIGN DEVELOPERS, DATA ANALYSTS, DATA SCIENTISTS, AND SOFTWARE ENGINEERS TO WORK IN THE NASHVILLE TECH COMMUNITY. THE SCHOOL ALSO OFFERS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR IT PROFESSIONALS. NSS GRADUATED 366 STUDENTS IN 2022 (246 WEB SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, 100 DATA ANALYTICS, 20 DATA SCIENCE). 303 GRADUATES BEGAN FULL-TIME WORK IN 2022, WITH FIRST-YEAR SALARIES TOTALING MORE THAN 19 MILLION.
