PROVIDED CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO FAMILIES AND/OR INDIVIDUALS IN DAVIDSON COUNTY WHO MEET THE ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM TO ACHIEVE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE ASSISTANCE WITH PARTICIPANTS COMPLETING EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING PROGRAMS, OBTAINING EMPLOYMENT, AND OBTAINING STANDARD HOUSING. PARTICIPANTS WERE PROVIDED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE WITH UTILITIES, RENT AND TRANSPORTATION. ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX (166) FAMILIES WERE ENROLLED DURING THE YEAR.
LOCAL SUPPORT WAS PROVIDED FOR EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE BY MAINTAINING A STOCKED PANTRY THAT WAS VISITED BY 603 PEOPLE DURING THE YEAR.
