CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF A PUBLIC GARDEN DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION AND DISPLAY OF PLANTS AND HABITATS NATIVE TO THE SOUTHEAST FOR THE ENJOYMENT, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH OF THE PUBLIC AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY, VISITED BY OVER 35,000 PEOPLE PER YEAR WITH NO ADMISSION CHARGE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MAINTAINS A LIBRARY OF BOOKS RELATED TO BOTANY, HORTICULTURE, ECOLOGY AND ORNITHOLOGY FOR EDUCATION AND RESEARCH PURPOSES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CREATED A SELF-GUIDED WALKING TOUR PAMPHLET FOR THE USE OF VISITORS.
