GOVERNMENT RELATIONS - SERVES THE ASSOCIATION'S ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP AS FOLLOWS: (1) MONITORING LEGISLATION ON A STATE AND NATIONAL LEVEL; (2) WORKING WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES THAT REGULATE THE AGGREGATES INDUSTRY; (3) MONITORING TRANSPORTATION FUNDING; AND (4) PUBLISHING NEWSLETTERS AND LEGISLATIVE UPDATES.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS - 223 VOLUNTEERS. INCLUDED (1) QUARTERLY MEETINGS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL, MARKETING AND TECHNICAL, AND SAFETY AND HEALTH COMMITTEES; (2) FORMAL MEETINGS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE THREE TIMES PER YEAR AND CONFERENCE CALLS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AS NEEDED; AND (3) MEETINGS OF THE CONVENTION COMMITTEE THREE TIMES PER YEAR.
