THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL FALL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR THE CONTINUING EDUCATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH PROFESSIONALS. THE EVENT IS ATTENDED BY MORE THAN 500 MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS REPRESENTING MOST OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENTS IN THE STATE. MORE THAN 10 SECTIONS OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH PROFESSION MAKE PRESENTATIONS AND GRANTS TO HEALTH DEPARTMENTS AND AWARDS TO PUBLIC HEALTH EMPLOYEES ARE MADE. IN ADDITION, THE ASSOCIATION MANAGES OTHER PROGRAMS SUCH AS A SPRING CONFERENCE AND ONLINE TRAININGS.
