THE MISSION OF THE CATAWBA COUNTY UNITED WAY IS TO INCREASE THE ORGANIZED CAPACITY OF PEOPLE TO HELP OTHERS BY MOBILIZING THE CARING POWER OF OUR COMMUNITY. THE MISSION IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS.

CATAWBA COUNTY UNITED WAY PROVIDES FUNDING TO SUPPORT 16 LOCAL NON PROFIT AGENCIES THAT SERVE THE INCOME, HEALTH AND EDUCATION IMPACT AREAS OF CATAWBA AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. THE UNITED WAY ALSO FUNDS VARIOUS SPECIAL PROJECTS DURING THE YEAR INCLUDING 211 CALL CENTER, BACKPACK YOUTH, CHRISTMAS BUREAU, YOUTH COUNCIL AND OTHER SPECIFIC NEEDS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
