FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO AGENCIES LISTED ON CASH GRANTS AND ALLOCATIONS TO OTHERS. SCHEDULE-ALL PROGRAMS OF AGENCY ARE CONFINED TO ROWAN COUNY AND SERVE APPORXIMATELY 79,302 PEOPLE. IN ADDITION TO THE COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANTS, RCUW PROVIDED COVID RELIEF GRANTS TO 7 AGENCIES IN 2021.
THE RCUW SERVICE ABOVE SELF YOUTH CHALLEGE PROVIDED 38 GRANT AWARDS TO INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS OF K-12 STUDENTS TO COMPLETE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. IN RECOGTNITION OF THEIR VOLUNTEERISM, CERTIFICATES WERE GIVEN TO GRANTEES WHILE 2 GROUPS AND 1 INDIVIDUAL WERE SELECTED AS WINNERS. WINNERS RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIPS, GIFTCARDS, AND AN ANOUNNCEMENT IN THE NEWSPAPER.
