INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS OF FOUR PERFORMING ENSEMBLES PERFORMED AN ANNUAL WINTER CONCERT ON JANUARY 9, 2022 AND A SPRING CONCERT ON MAY 8, 2022. YOUTH STRINGS COLLABORATED WITH MEMBERS OF YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS UNITED IN A COLLABORATIVE, LIVE BALLET PERFORMANCE OF "SLEEPING BEAUTY, THE AWAKENING" ON FEBRUARY 22, 2022. THE CHAMBER ENSEMBLE PROGRAM PROVIDED ADDITIONAL INCOME TO 7 CHAMBER COACHES FROM OCTOBER THROUGH MARCH, SERVING 34 STUDENTS, AND ENDED WITH A CHAMBER CONCERT ON MARCH 27, 2022. SECTIONAL COACHING WAS UTILIZED, PROVIDING SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME TO 16 HIGHLY SKILLED, LOCAL PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS MULTIPLE TIMES DURING THE YEAR. THE YEAR ENDED WITH AN ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE AT SYMPHONY SUNDAY ON JUNE 5, FOLLOWED BY A WEEK-LONG DAY CAMP FOR BEGINNER STRINGS STUDENTS, JUNE 20-24. IN TOTAL, 102 STUDENT MUSICIANS SERVED, 20 PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS EMPLOYED. APPROXIMATELY 2,500 LIVE CONCERT ATTENDEES ENJOYED THESE PERFORMANCES DURING THE 2021-22 SEASON.
