FAMILY COUNSELING CONNECTION DBA "THE COUNSELING CONNECTION" PROVIDES BOTH LONG AND SHORT-TERM COUNSELING AND THERAPY SERVICES FOR A VARIETY OF LIFE PROBLEMS AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.
FAMILY COUNSELING CONNECTION OPERATES THE REACH PROGRAM (RAPE EDUCATION COUNSELING AND HEALING) WHICH IS A 24-HOUR, 7-DAY-A-WEEK RAPE CRISIS /SEXUAL ASSAULT, ADVOCACY, EDUCATION AND PREVENTION PROGRAM DESIGNED TO ASSIST VICTIMS OF RAPE OR SEXUAL ASSAULT. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION RUNS THE FACS PROGRAM (FORENSIC ASSESSMENT AND COUNSELING SERVICES) WHICH IS AN OUTPATIENT TREATMENT PROGRAM FOR ADULT SEXUAL OFFENDERS. THIS PROGRAM UTILIZES INTENSIVE GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL THERAPY IN A COMMUNITY-BASED SETTING AND WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH THE WEST VIRGINIA COURT SYSTEM, PROBATION AND PAROLE.
