APACAF'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH THE EXCHANGE AND EXHIBIT OF THE PERFORMING ARTS, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS BETWEEN ETHNIC GROUPS OF ASIAN HERITAGE IN AMERICA. APACAF ALSO SERVES AS A FISCAL AGENT FOR COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER-BASED GROUPS THAT ARE ORGANIZED FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, AND SOCIAL WELFARE PURPOSES. THESE GROUPS SERVE FAMILIES THAT MAY BE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL BURDENS.

APACAF SERVED AS A FISCAL AGENT FOR TTXI FUND, WHICH ALLOWED FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE 2018 THANG TIEN 11 (TT11) INTERNATIONAL JAMBOREE FOR VIETNAMESE SCOUTING; THIS ACCOUNTED FOR 84% OF APACAF'S EXPENDITURE IN 2018.
APACAF'S DONORS CONTRIBUTED THE $30,000 THANG TIEN FUND TO DIEN HONG YOUTH FOUNDATION SO THAT THEY COULD PREPARE AND ORGANIZE FUTURE CAMPS AND JAMBOREES FOR THE SCOUTS.
APACAF'S DONORS CONTRIBUTED $5,000 TO THE BUILDING OF A BRIDGE IN LONG THOI VILLAGE (IN THE PROVIDENCE OF BEN TRE IN VIETNAM) TO HELP VILLAGE PEDESTRIANS SAFELY CROSS WATERWAYS AFTER THEY EXPERIENCED BAD FLOODING IN THE AREA; THIS BRIDGE HELPS VILLAGERS SAFELY GET TO SCHOOL AND WORK.
1) APACAF PROVIDED THE E-STEAM PROGRAM, AN EDUCATIONAL SATURDAY LEARNING PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES ENGLISH, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS, AND MATH FOUNDATIONS FOR 50 STUDENTS IN GRADES 6 - 9, AS WELL AS A TEACHER ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM FOR 12 STUDENTS IN GRADES 10 - 12. 2) APACAF PROVIDED YOUTH IN MEDIA TRAINING WORKSHOPS FOR 20 STUDENTS. 3) APACAF MAINTAINS A DISASTER RELIEF FUND AND PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR THE BUILDING OF A BRIDGE IN VIETNAM AFTER A FLOOD SO VILLAGERS COULD GO TO SCHOOL AND WORK. 4) APACAF SERVED AS A CHARTER FOR A BOYS SCOUT TROOP. 5) APACAF SERVED AS A FISCAL AGENT FOR VATV AND THE ALLIANCE FOUNDATION
