THE CENTRAL VIRGINIA BURN CAMP WAS FOUNDED IN 1944 BY BURN CAREPROFESSIONALS TO PROVIDE A SPECIAL, FUN EXPERIENCE FOR CHILDREN WITH BURNINJURIES. THIS CAMP OFFERS THE CHANCE FOR THESE CHILDREN TO ENJOY SUMMERACTIVITIES WITH OTHERS WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH A SIMILIAR EXPERIENCE.

FOR ONE FULL WEEK EACH SUMMER, APPROXIMATELY THIRTY FIVECAMPERS AND STAFF ARE HOUSED IN AIR CONDITIONED CABINS ATCAMP HOLIDAY TRAILS, CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. ALL STAFF WORKON A VOLUNTEER BASIS TO FULLFILL THE ORGANIZATIONS GOALS.
