THE GENERAL PUBLIC WAS EDUCATED ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE COUNTY, THOUGH VISITS TO THE HISTORIC COURTHOUSE, THE COUNTY FAIR AND THE SOUTHERN DAYS PROGRAM. VISITORS CAME TO THE OLD HISTORIC COURTHOUSE ALSO TO TRACE THEIR GENEOLOGY BY USING OUR REFERENCE BOOKS. THIS IS DONE BY 8 VOLUNTEERS. IT SERVES THE COUNTY.
