THE ORGANIZATION DISTRIBUTED FOOD, CLOTHING & OTHER BASIC NECESSITIES OF LIFE TO UNDERPRIVILEDGED SENIORS, ADULTS, CHILDREN & INFANTS OF BUCHANNAN COUNTY, VIRGINIA IN PRIOR YEARS. FOOD & GROCERIES WERE DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, ALONG WITH CLOTHING & HOUSEHOLD GOODS. MOST DISTRIBUTIONS WERE DONATED BY LOCAL INDIVIDUALS OR PURCHASED WITH PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF DONATED CLOTHING & HOUSEHOLD GOODS AT A THRIFT STORE. THE SPACE FOR THE STORE WAS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO THE ORGANZATION. DURING 2017, THE ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVITIES DECREASED SIGNIFICANTLY DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS OF THE PRESIDENT & ONLY ACTIVE OFFICER WHO WAS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE PROGRAM & MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION.
