NATIA NATIONAL TRAINING AND TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION: NATIA HOSTS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT INCLUDES CLASSROOM TRAINING, HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS, AND A TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO NETWORK WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ENGAGED IN TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE AND SPECIALIZED SUPPORT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AND INTELLIGENCE GATHERING AGENCIES. APPROXIMATELY 750 MEMBERS RECEIVE 40 HOURS OF SPECIALIZED TRAINING IN BASIC AND ADVANCED TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE TECHNIQUES.
CHAPTER PROGRAM: PROVIDE SIMILAR TRAINING AS ANNUAL NATIONAL MEETING BUT AT A LOCAL LEVEL. WORKSHOPS ARE TYPICALLY TWO DAYS (8 HOURS) CLASSES. THIS FORUM PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE MATERIALS RECEIVED AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE.
