SOUTHWEST HOUSING PROVIDERS IS A BUILDING WITH 20 UNITS LOCATED IN PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO AND IS CURRENTLY OPERATING UNDER THE NAME SOCORRO SENIOR LIVING. SOCORRO SENIOR LIVING ACCOMODATES THE NEEDS OF SENIORS WHO ARE ABLE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY WITH OR WITHOUT SOME SUPPORTIVE SERVICES. COMMUNITY SPACES INCLUDE COIN OPERATED LAUNDRY FACILITIES, AND A TECHNOLOGY NICHE IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM. A SMALL OFFICE SPACE AND RESTROOM COMPLETES THE COMMON AREAS. THE COMMUNITY ROOM WILL PROVIDE SPACE FOR SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, WHICH WILL FOSTER A SENSE OF FAMILY AND SUPPORT WITHIN THE PROJECT. ACTIVITIES WILL SEEK TO OVERCOME THE SOCIAL ISOLATION OFTEN ENCOUNTERED WITH SENIORS.
