CENTRAL VIRGINIA HOUSING COALITION OFFERS HUD CERTIFIED COUNSELING TO EDUCATE FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS ON BECOMING A SUCCESFUL RENTER, CREDIT, AND BUDGET COUNSELING, AVOIDING FORECLOSURE AND OTHER CLASSES. THE VHDA HOMEOWNERSHIP CLASS IS OFFERED TO PERSONS LOOKING TO PURCHASE A HOME. IN ADDITION, THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM IS ADMINISTERED FOR PLANNING DISTRICT 16 AND FAUQUIER COUNTY. A VARIETY OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR RENT THROUGH CENTRAL VIRGINIA HOUSING COALITION.
