THE OLD DOMINION EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ALLIANCE IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF VIRGINIA'S COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES SYSTEM. WE PROVIDE ACCESS, IDENTIFY, COORDINATE, PLAN AND IMPLEMENT AN EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE REGIONAL EMS DELIVERY SYSTEM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER AGENCIES.

GRANT THROUGH VDH OFFICE OF EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS-ASSISTED THE REGIONAL HEALTHCARE COALITION AND VHHA/VDH WITH EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE REGIONAL AND STATEWIDE HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEMS BY ASSISTING WITH EMERGENCY RESOURCE MANAGEMENT TO PROVIDE RESOURCES TO IMPROVE THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND RECOVERY CAPABILITIES OF HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS DURING MAJOR INCIDENTS AND DISASTERS.
