CDC: VYF CONDUCTS NUMEROUS PROGRAMS WITH SUPPORT FROM THE CDC INCLUDING EFFORTS TO REACH AT RISK POPULATIONS WHO ARE SERVED BY THE WOMEN INFANT & CHILDREN NUTRITION PROGRAM THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF ANNUAL WEBINARS AND BILINGUAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING A VACCINE LESSON ON WICHEALTH.ORG, OFFERED IN 35 DIFFERENT STATES AND BY INDIGENOUS TERRITORY ORGANIZATIONS (ITOS). 15,934 WIC HEALTH LESSONS WERE COMPLETED IN 2022.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS - VYF WORKS TO ENSURE THAT U.S. PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES OFFER EQUITABLE ACCESS TO VACCINES NATIONWIDE. WE DRAFT AN ANNUAL STATE OF THE IMMUNION REPORT, A NONPARTISAN, RESOURCE HIGHLIGHTING AND DEFINING CURRENT AND EMERGING POLICY ISSUES AND CALLS TO ACTION TO INFORM AND ACTIVATE STAKEHOLDERS. VYF CONDUCTS GRASSROOTS ENGAGEMENT ON VACCINE RELATED ISSUES AND ASSISTS OUR PARTNERS IN THEIR ADVOCACY EFFORTS.

VACCINATE YOUR FAMILY ORGANIZES MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGNS ANNUALLY FOR FLU SEASON, NATIONAL INFANT IMMUNIZATION WEEK, AND NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION AWARENESS MONTH. IN 2022, OUR BILINGUAL SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLKITS HAD AN AVERAGE MAX POTENTIAL REACH OF 6+ MILLION ACCOUNTS. DC COALITION - THIS COALITION AIMS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY IMMUNIZATION OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. THE CORE PROGRAMS CONDUCTED IN 2022 INCLUDED THE HOSTING OF REGULAR COALITION MEETINGS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DC PROVIDER COVID-19 TOOLKIT AND COVID-19 PEER TO PEER PROVIDER TRAINING MODULES.
