THE TURBEVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE AND RESCUE ASSOCIATION INC ANSWERS EMERGENCY 911 CALLS IN AN AREA THAT COVERS APPROXIMATELY 75 SQUARE MILES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDES AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE TO THAT AREA. THIS SERVICE PROVIDES QUICKER EMERGENCY RESPONSE TIMES THAN CAN BE ACHIEVED BY THE LODAL RESCUE SQUAD.
