PROVIDE VISUAL AND HEARING EXAMS AND SCREENINGS, GLASSES, HEARING AIDS, EYE AND EAR SURGERIES, PROTHETICS, GUIDE DOG AND EQUIPMENT TO RESIDENTS OF SOUTHEASTERN VIRGINIA WHO OTHERWISE COULD NOT AFFORD THOSE SERVICES. ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO OVER 250 INDIVIDUALS DURING THE YEAR. ALSO PROVIDED PHOTO SCREENER SUPPLIES TO LIONS CLUBS THAT USED THE FILM TO SCREEN KINDERGARTEN AGE CHILDREN FOR EYE DISORDERS.

THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS A 3 DAY DIABETES CAMP FOR APPROXIMATELY 140 CHILDREN AGES 6 - 17. CHILDREN WERE PROVIDED RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, MEDICAL ADVICE AND INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO DEAL WITH DIABETES. ONE OR MORE ADULTS CAN ACCOMPANY THE CHILD.
