WE ALSO OCCASIONALLY SERVE SURVIVORS FROM A BROADER REGIONAL AREA (FOR EXAMPLE BUCKINGHAM COUNTY) BECAUSE WE MAY BE THE CLOSEST RAPE CRISIS CENTER OR BECAUSE THEY MAY HAVE COME TO UVA HOSPITAL FOR THE FORENSIC EXAM. SARA IS FULLY ACCREDITED THROUGH THE VIRGINIA SEXUAL AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACTION ALLIANCE. WE ARE THE ONLY AGENCY TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES IN THIS SERVICE AREA.
