TO ELIMINATE RACISM, EMPOWER WOMEN AND TO PROMOTE PEACE, JUSTICE, FREEDOM AND DIGNITY FOR ALL. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES APPROXIMATELY 8,000 INDIVIDUALS EACH YEAR THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, MENTAL HEALTH, VICTIMS OF CRIME AND EQUITY AND JUSTICE TRAINING.

THE VICTIM SERVICES DEPARTMENT PROVIDES SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF CRIME TO INCLUDE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, STALKING AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING THROUGH THE NORFOLK FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER. SERVICES INCLUDE EMERGENCY SHELTER, HOUSING ASSISTANCE, CASE MANAGEMENT, COUNSELING, VICTIM ADVOCACY, CRISIS ACCOMPANIMENT SERVICES AND TRAINING.THE CHILDREN'S SERVICES DEPARTMENT PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN THROUGH THE NORFOLK FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER AND IN YWCA SHR VICTIM SERVICES DEPARTMENTS. SERVICES INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, PATHWAYS PROGRAMMING, CAMP HOPE, AND AMEND TOGETHER.
THE EQUITY AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES TRAINING, ADVOCACY AND AWARENESS TO BUILD AN ANTIRACIST AND GENDER EQUITABLE COMMUNITY.
