ADVANCING RIGHTS AND JUSTICE: PADF FOSTERS THE ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT OF CITIZENS, ENHANCES THE QUALITY OF DEMOCRACY, AND STRENGTHENS GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS TO BE MORE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR CITIZENS AND REDUCE CORRUPTION IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN. PADF WORKS WITH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS, THE MEDIA, HUMAN RIGHT DEFENDERS AND PUBLIC SECTOR INSTITUTIONS TO PROMOTE AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, THE RULE OF LAW, AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOR ALL, INCLUDING LGBTQI POPULATIONS, INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, AFRO-DESCENDANTS, AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.
