ALSO, THE BAND REPRESENTS THE US COAST GUARD AT VARIOUS PATRIOTIC EVENTS SUCH AS: PARADES, CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONIES, MILITARY FUNERALS, MILITARY MEMORIALS, AND MILITARY RETIREMENT CEREMONIES. ALL MEMBERS OF THE US COAST GUARD PIPE BAND ARE ACTIVE DUTY, RESERVE, RETIRED OR AUXILIARY MEMBERS OF THE US COAST GUARD.
