DURING 2021, RISE INSTITUTE PREPARED AN EXTENSIVE METHODOLOGICAL GUIDE WITH A CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK AND SEVERAL GENERIC FIELD RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS FOR CONDUCTING RESEARCH THAT IS NEEDED TO PREPARE NATIONAL SITUATION ANALYSES ON EARLY CHILDHOOD INTERVENTION (ECI). IT WILL BE PUBLISHED SOON BY UNICEF. SUBSEQUENTLY, WE RECEIVED ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO FIELD TEST THE DRAFT GUIDE IN THREE COUNTRIES: MONTENEGRO, NORTH MACEDONIA AND KOSOVO. THE FIELD-TESTING WORK CONTINUED ON INTO 2022. A SPECIAL CONTRACT WAS OFFERED TO US BY THE COUNTRY OF MONTENEGRO TO CONDUCT RESEARCH AND PREPARE THEIR NATIONAL ECI SITUATION ANALYSIS. THE CONTRACT FOR THE GUIDE WAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE FUNDS FOR FIELD TESTING AND RESEARCH IN NORTH MACEDONIA THAT WAS CONDUCTED MAINLY IN 2022. FOR OUR WORK IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC IN THE FIELD OF EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT (ECD), A CONTRACT WAS OFFERED TO US TO STUDY THE STATUS OF INITIATIVES FOR ECD POLICY PLANNING AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT IN 15 COUNTRIES OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC. THIS CONTRACT BEGAN AT THE END OF 2021. UNDER THE GRANT FROM THE OPEN SOCIETY FOUNDATIONS, WE PREPARED NEWSFLASHES AND BIWEEKLY DIGESTS ON RESEARCH STUDIES, WEBINARS, EVENTS, AND PUBLICATIONS FOR 800 PLUS MEMBERS OF THE GLOBAL ECD TASK FORCE THEREBY BENEFITTING ECD AND ECI PROFESSIONALS AND LEADERS IN ALL WORLD REGIONS. WE ALSO PREPARED AND PRESENTED WEBINARS AND PAPERS FOR THE MEMBERS.RISE WORKED PRO BONO ALL YEAR IN 2021 FOR UNESCO TO PREPARE A GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP STRATEGY FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD. THIS STRATEGY UNITED UNICEF, WHO, WORLD BANK, UNESCO, OECD, AND MANY GLOBAL AND REGIONAL ECD NETWORKS TO WORK TO EXPAND AND IMPROVE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN.
