THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO APPLY FOR GRANTS AND AWARDS TO SUPPORT AND ENSURE THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND ENHANCE THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS BY PROVIDING RESOURCES TO SUPPORT A CREATIVE TEACHING ATMOSPHERE WITHIN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. THIS GOAL IS ACCOMPLISHED BY APPLYING FOR GRANTS AND AWARDS AND ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS WHICH WILL FUND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, ASSIST IN IMPROVING PUBLIC SCHOOL FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT AND SAFETY OF THE STUDENTS AND CITIZENS OF ALLEGANY COUNTY AND FUND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION.
