UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES (UHS) PROVIDES ANNUAL SUPPORT TO THE TUNE OF 50,000 NIGHTS OF LODGING TO MORE THAN 10,000 CHILDREN, ADULTS AND VETERANS IN MEDICAL CRISIS EACH YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES ON DONATIONS BUT NO GUEST IS TURNED AWAY DUE TO AN INABILITY TO PAY. UHS PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM AUTHORITY THROUGH TWO SATELLITE AMBULATORY HEALTH CARE CLINICS.
