WALK CARROLL PROGRAMMING WAS SUCCESSFULLY EXPANDED TO INCLUDE A NUMBER OF PROJECTS OUTSIDE OF THE TRADITIONAL WALKING CLUBS IN ORDER TO REACH MORE COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND SUPPORT NEW IDEAS FOR INCREASING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. WE GREW OUR PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE HILL YMCA IN WESTMINSTER, CARROLL LUTHERAN VILLAGE AND WESTMINSTER OVERLOOK. CLV AND WESTMINSTER OVERLOOK WERE FOR THEIR RESIDENTS ONLY, BUT EACH GROUP CONTINUED TO WALK OUTDOORS THROUGH COVID. THE PARTNERSHIP PROVIDED SHIRTS, WATER BOTTLES, AND EXERCISE BANDS. A PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL AT WESTMINSTER OVERLOOK LOST THIRTY POUNDS BY GETTING OUT AND WALKING WITH HER GROUP.
