ANNUAL CONFERENCE:DUE TO THE ONGOING PANDEMIC, THE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK AGAIN HELD A VIRTUAL (RATHER THAN IN-PERSON) CONFERENCE, BUILDING ON 2020'S COMNETWORKV AND CALLING THE ONLINE GATHERING COMNETWORKV21. COMNETWORKV21 AGAIN FEATURED A FULL LINEUP OF KEYNOTE SPEAKERS, BREAKOUT SESSIONS, AND ONLINE NETWORKING THAT WAS ALL ACCESSIBLE THROUGH A CUSTOM-BUILT ONLINE PORTAL. THE ONLINE GATHERING WAS NOT FREE AS IT WAS IN 2020, BUT STILL DREW 607 PARTICIPANTS.
ONLINE WORKSHOPS:THE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK HOSTS ONLINE LEARNING SESSIONS ABOUT 15 TIMES PER YEAR ON ISSUES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO SOCIAL SECTOR COMMUNICATORS. THESE WEBINARS ARE FREE TO ALL AND OFTEN ATTRACT AN AUDIENCE OF AS MANY AS 400 PEOPLE. TOPICS RANGE FROM PRACTICAL SKILL BUILDING TO FORWARD-THINKING THOUGHT LEADERSHIP TOPICS
