THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED DIRECT LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE ON BEHALF OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS, PRIMARILY IN CASES INVOLVING FORECLOSURES, DEBT COLLECTION AND OTHER CONSUMER MATTERS. IT ASSISTED NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS FACING FORECLOSURE THROUGH ITS OTHER FORECLOSURE PREVENTION PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION, IT INCREASED ACCESS TO JUSTICE BY TRAINING AND MENTORING A NETWORK OF PRIVATE ATTORNEYS AND PROVIDING REFERRALS TO LOW AND MODERATE INCOME MARYLANDERS WHO NEED FREE OR REDUCED FEE LEGAL ASSISTANCE. DURING THE 2022 TAX YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION BROUGHT IN CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TOTALING $697,087 IN SUPPORT OF ITS PROGRAM SERVICES.
