EDUCATION: ASIRT PROVIDES GOVERNMENT AND CORPORATE TRAVELORS AND EMPLOYEES, TOURISTS AND STUDENTS WITH INFORMATIONAL TOOLS TO MAKE SAFE, INFORMED TRAVEL CHOICES THROUGH ROAD TRAVEL REPORTS. ASIRT HAS A NUMBER OF SPECIFIC COUNTRY ROAD TRAVEL REPORTS IN ITS LIBRARY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOUSANDS OF EMPLOYEES AT MAJOR CORPORATIONS AND STUDENTS IN THE STUDY ABROAD COMMUNITY. ASIRT ALSO PROVIDES GENERAL ROAD SAFELY INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.
ADVOCACY: ASIRT CONTINUES TO ADVOCATE FOR EXPANDING THE CRITERIA OF DATA COLLECTED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT'S BUREAU OF CONSULAR AFFAIRS ON US CITIZENS WHO ARE INJURED OR KILLED IN ROAD CRASHES WHILE TRAVELING OR STATIONED ABROAD. ASIRT PARTICIPATES IN MEETINGS OF THE UN, ROAD SAFETY COLLABORATION (UNRSC) IN GENEVA AND THE MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE IN BRASILIA. ASIRT COLLABORATES WITH THREE-STAR COALITION ON ROAD SAFETY EFFORTS AND ENCOURAGES THE WORLD BANK TO FUND ROADS THAT MEET THREE-STAR SAFETY CRITERIA.
