RESEARCH FUNDING - IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE QUALITY AND IMPROVE CARE IN POST-ACUTE AND LONG-TERM CARE ("PALTC") SETTINGS, THE FOUNDATION ENCOURAGES AND SUPPORTS RESEARCH BY INFORMING A RESEARCH AGENDA AND FACILITATING RESEARCH IN PALTC. THE RESEARCH FUNDING PROGRAM WAS EXPANDED TO THE FUNDING PROJECTS PROGRAM TO ENCOMPASS THE FUNDING OF ADDITIONAL PROJECTS THAT MEET THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION.
ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM - THE FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN AMDA'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE BY PRESENTING VARIOUS RESEARCH PROJECTS AND STUDIES CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
FUTURES PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM IS AN INTENSIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE DESIGNED TO EXPOSE RESIDENTS, FELLOWS AND ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS TO THE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE IN POST-ACUTE AND LONG-TERM CARE MEDICINE. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS THEIR ATTENDANCE AT AMDA'S ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM.
